Sandwich Action and (Accidental) Dirty Talk

Well, as I wait for some forthcoming exciting news that I anticipate might be here before the end of the week, I’ll post this silliness which really has little to do with much of anything. :)

A couple days ago Neve Black, Kirsten Monroe, and I had what I found to be an amusing conversation in Neve’s blog comments about the occupational hazard of mind-in-the-gutter-ness that seems to come from writing/thinking about/talking about sex more than, it seems, the general masses.

This conversation was spawned (ha) by Neve’s dirty interpretation of the Golden Globes, after which I chimed in that I had been known to feel slightly surprised by, for example, my sister’s proclamation that she was going to go get a facial. Make no mistake, the surprise was pleasant as I was delighted that she seemed so open about something sexual…until I realized she was referring to a spa treatment, not saying that she was off to have a man come all over her face.

Heh.

Anyway, I mention this because I burst out laughing last night when I went to grab a pickle from the fridge (no, really) and was greeted by the following enthusiastic message on the lid: “always ready for a little sandwich action.”

Xoxoxo,
Emerald
