An Action-Packed Holiday Week!
Happy Valentine’s Day! Lots going on this holiday week—read on for details!
On Wednesday, February 17, my Cougar Book author interview will be up at the Logical-Lust blog, which is featuring author interviews throughout the month of February. Also on Wednesday, there will be a Cougar Book launch party at Author Island, and later in the week, on Saturday, February 20, another release party will be held at the Jeanie and Jayha Yahoo Group starting at 12pm EST. All are welcome at both!
In other news, in honor of Valentine’s Day Ms. Violet Blue is offering free downloads of two of her erotic e-books and audio books today! Visit here to take advantage of her generous horny holiday offer!
Today is also the day the new website F-Stop: Expose the Naked I, presented by Neve Black, Shanna Germain, and Donna George Storey, makes its debut. I’m planning to contribute to F-Stop myself in the future and am looking forward to seeing what the site has in store.
Also this week, tomorrow (Monday, February 15) Dr. Dick of Dr. Dick’s Sex Advice is celebrating his third anniversary of podcasting! Dr. Dick interviewed me last March, and I not only immensely enjoyed the experience but continue to appreciate the extraordinary work Dr. Dick does. Happy podcasting anniversary, DD! :)
Whew! Happy Valentine’s Day again—I wish all a beautiful celebration of love, not only today but always.
Love,
Emerald
I saw the smile in her cobalt eyes before it reflected in the curve of her lips. It was that same smile, the one I’d seen when she’d pulled up in her car outside the bar that night, the one she’d given me when she’d first told me her name, the one she’d flashed as she’d gone up to the bedroom to change out of her wet shirt. The one I never determined what lay behind, that was always the same for her but seemed to bring such a wild variety of things out of me. The one that, to this day, may still be the strongest mental image I have of Cole.

It is quite the weekend, isn’t it, Emerald? But the best part is definitely that photo. I agree with Danielle!

Congratulations on the release, Emerald!
And also: holy cr*p. Thank you so much for your review on Amazon. I had to have a lie down after reading it! It’s gorgeous!

Thank you Danielle and Donna! :) It is so my pleasure to dress up for one of my favorite holidays. ;) (And that lovely sequined heart I’m holding was given to me by a beloved friend one year as a hostess gift when I held a dinner party for Valentine’s Day. :)) Thank you for coming by!!
Charlotte—LOL! (Seriously—I’m with Lisabet there. ;)) It is so my pleasure. It’s actually been on my to do list to get that written since I finished the book a couple weeks ago! I really did feel a bit intimidated by wanting to write a review that did justice to how I experienced the book. ;) (Same thing happened when I read Amorous Woman.) Anyway, I am so glad you liked it (and wanted to put it on the UK site too, but Amazon wouldn’t let me since I had never ordered from there), and thank you for coming by!

“Funnily, it also happened to be during Valentine’s week last year that my story with the title of “Cougar” was published at Good Vibrations Magazine.”
Cool! Clearly Emerald + cougars + Valentine’s is becoming a classic combination!
“The one I never determined what lay behind, that was always the same for her but seemed to bring such a wild variety of things out of me.”
Ooh–I love that profound paradox!
Btw, I believe that Amazon UK, unlike the U.S. Amazon, does not make you buy something before leaving feedback. (You have to set up an account, but that’s it, I think.)

Waah! I was wrong. Amazon UK lets you rate existing reviews as helpful without making a purchase on your account (which was what confused me), but I see now that an actual review requires a purchase. : (

Congrats again on Cougar! And let me join the chorus of “Dayum!” on the pic…

Hi Jeremy!
“Cool! Clearly Emerald + cougars + Valentine’s is becoming a classic combination!”
LOL!
Ah, thank you, I’m glad you like that line from “To Make It That Way”…to me it seems microcosmically (which I recall you’re into right now!!) representative of the story somewhat.
Re Amazon UK, well at least I wasn’t just not figuring out how to do it, lol. (I guess that means my eventual review of Rock My Socks Off will only be on the U.S. site too….)
Thanks!

Hi Haven! Well thank you. :) (I’m blushing, lol.) The response I’ve had to what I’m currently reading by you has been frequently similar! ;)
Thank you so much for coming by!

“I guess that means my eventual review of Rock My Socks Off will only be on the U.S. site too….”
: ) Thanks in advance!
By the way, as far as Xcite releases are concerned, there’s also a review mechanism on the publisher site. (No pressure–just an fyi.)
